English Version
In 2021, Jan Lin Hsuan participated in the United Nations SDGs Forum in New York, engaging with the international community on global responses to climate change, global warming, and the growing challenges of human security amid conflicts and instability worldwide.
Formosa (Taiwan) is strategically located at the intersection of the First and Second Island Chains, bridging East Asia and the Eurasian tectonic zone. This unique position makes Taiwan an important international security nexus and a bridge for peace between the Asia-Pacific region and the wider world.
Historically known as the “Island of Immortals,” Formosa is widely regarded as a land of high energy and positive social resonance. Taiwan’s society is characterized by harmonious coexistence among diverse ethnic groups and rich religious pluralism, including Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, Islam, and Tibetan Buddhism. This diversity contributes to social stability, mutual respect, and inner peace.
With a commitment to global peace and sustainable development, on January 15, 2026, Jan Lin Hsuan formally submitted a proposal to the United Nations news and relevant Security Council channels, advocating for the establishment of a World Interfaith Pilgrimage Destination in Taiwan. The initiative seeks to foster interreligious harmony, civilizational dialogue, and compassionate action as pathways toward a more peaceful and resilient world.
